MJM is someone I saw on Tumblr and immediately knew I needed to work with him. He flew into Austin for a summer night where I had booked an airbnb as both his crashpad and the shooting space.
We didn’t get into the place until late in the afternoon when temperatures were above 100. The AC wasn’t working well and mosquitoes were everywhere. We started shooting and immediately MJM was slapping off bugs and their bites.
Red welts were sprinkled all over his face and body in just under three hours. I felt so bad I offered him my guest room for the night and we fled the skeeter-infested airbnb. We ended up having dinner and going out for drinks. Back at my house we stayed up late talking about past relationships and art in general. I love it when the models are as sweet and down-to-earth as they are sksy.
Although I lost a lot of shooting time that night we ended up with one of my favorite shoots. MJM looks great. His tall, slender, masculine frame is so hot against the softer textiles and faded white of the room. And those pics by the back porch door are great.
