Why do I do this?

Life’s sensual moments stay with us as snapshots. Like a glance you get from that naked stranger in the locker room shower or your partner casually nude on the couch under a sunny window. It could be that 2am hookup in an apartment hallway filled with shadows or when the guy you brought back to your room pulls off his shirt then throws it on the bed with effortless precision. Unsuspecting moments that are just fucking sexy.

My creative flex is recreating those snapshots – with the right kind of guy. A man who is not only sexual, but also sensual. A nice body, face, even an erection is just anatomy. Sensuality does not depend on muscle and looks. It requires connection. Not just with another person but with his own body and senses as well.

My art reveals that connection. Watch how he interacts with the room I place him in. How he touches the fabrics. The intersection of textures. The ease of how his body lays and how he calls to you without looking in your direction. These intimately connected layers draw you into his space. From here the story is yours. Is it about dominance? touch? masculinity? tenderness? or will you just watch? What you see in my work is what you desire. I just paint the canvas.
