I grew up in a very hetero/conservative forward area of Texas so it was easy to relate with Fields. He’s one of those straight guys who has a really cool, creative vibe to him. He’s got a big truck, kills the gym and isn’t afraid to show that off. I ran into him while back home. We got a super quick shoot together at my hotel.
He wanted some workout shots and also wanted to try a backbend shot he saw in a fitness magazine. Man, I put him through a workout. Getting that shot was tougher than it looked and doing it on the bed didn’t make it easy for him. He later told me his abs and thighs were on fire after that shoot.
He also wanted to try some side nude shots but had just married and was being respectful to his new bride. A standup guy. But man he really wanted to try so he gave the shots as much as he could. I respect that.
