I would say Alex was the first model I photographed that made me say ‘wow’. At this time I had an ad in Craigslist hiring models for my first calendar. Most of the guys who responded had nice faces and an everyday type of body but not Alex. He had just finished university where he played football. I am a little bummed when I see these shots today. I was very early in my shooting and didn’t have my light signature yet so trust me when I say my shots don’t do Alex or his body justice.

I remember when he walked out of my bathroom wearing the white briefs you see. His skin, abs and hair all shined in the sunlight of the room. And the briefs were much more see-through than what the pictures reveal. Alex was concerned but as we looked at the shots he felt better than the transparency didn’t come through.

I also don’t have a shot of his smile anywhere but it was a very Glenn Powell type of grin.
