Grant is one of those models you who see and know instantly that they are destined to be in LA. And that’s what happened where he has been working hard to break into the industry. And because of that you also know that he is going to play it very safe for the camera.
Grant looks amazing and kills these shots. You could see these in any magazine or underwear ad, but for me it lacks the depth of connection I like in my work. That’s not a knock on Grant at all. He is an incredible looking man. But soon after a few more sessions like this I had to ask myself if doing ‘catalog’ type of shoots were worth my time. The answer was no and as you see my work took a dramatic step forward. Sometimes you have to pass on working with some amazing people if what you want from the work doesn’t sync up.
